WA International Men’s Day Leaders Breakfast 2026
We’re proud to welcome Craig Hollywood AM, Australian of the Year Western Australia Local Hero 2022, Founder of Short Back and Sidewalks, WA Defence Lead, TEDx Speaker, and Non-Executive Board Director to one of Western Australia’s most important and purposeful leadership conversations.
Craig Hollywood founded Short Back and Sidewalks because he understood something that too many mental health systems have been too slow to grasp that reaching men where they are, in environments they trust, with approaches that honour how men actually communicate and connect, saves lives.
As WA Defence Lead, he brings an additional and critically important dimension to this conversation the experience of supporting veterans and defence personnel navigating the transition from military service to civilian life, carrying trauma, identity challenges, and mental health burdens that the broader community is only beginning to understand and adequately respond to.
As a TEDx Speaker, he has taken his message beyond the barbershop and beyond Western Australia reaching audiences across the country with a story about men, mental health, and the power of genuine human connection that is as practically grounded as it is emotionally compelling.
This is the counter-narrative the Manosphere has never been able to offer.
