About Sandra Creamer
Appointed CEO in February 2025, Sandra Creamer AM is a Waanyi/Kalkadoon woman and accomplished lawyer. She holds an Adjunct Professor position in Public Health at the University of Queensland and previously led the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance (NATSIWA). Awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her leadership in First Nations women’s health, human rights, and self-determination, her insights will enrich discussions on intersectionality, prevention, and recovery.
Key Contributions
Sandra serves on the National Plan Advisory Group for Ending Violence against Women and Children and chairs the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Council for the related Action Plan. She is also a member of the National Women’s Health Advisory Council and contributes to international forums like the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. Her advocacy focuses on enhancing women’s spiritual, physical, and mental well-being through policy and collaboration—directly aligning with the Summit’s goals.
