Monica leads the Family Violence Prevention Legal Service (FVPLS), where she supports Aboriginal women and children through expert legal navigation, trauma-informed healing practices, and community-driven responses to family violence. Her work spans the Great Southern, South West, and Wheatbelt South regions, addressing critical gaps in family safety and protection. With impressive qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Business Law), Juris Doctor, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and Practice Management accreditation, Monica brings deep expertise to the table. Her accolades include WLWA Rural, Regional & Remote Woman Lawyer of the Year 2025 and finalist for WA Regional Practitioner of the Year.
