Marisa serves as the Manager of Women’s Advocacy and Policy at the Community Restorative Centre (CRC), where she leads strategic efforts to support women impacted by the criminal justice system. With a deep commitment to social justice, she oversees programs designed to address the unique challenges faced by incarcerated and post‑release women, focusing on systemic advocacy, holistic support, and policy reform. Her work is central to CRC’s mission of reducing recidivism and breaking the cycle of disadvantage through gender‑responsive practice and tireless advocacy for the rights and dignity of women in the justice space.
