About Claire Marshall

Claire Marshall is a human rights lawyer focused on gender equality and family violence prevention. She has extensive experience in public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, leading systemic reforms in justice and social services. Marshall holds a BA and Juris Doctor from the University of Melbourne.

Key Roles

Prior to joining Emerge in November 2022, she directed an independent review of Victoria’s custodial corrections system and led the merger of family violence organisations DV Vic and DVRCV. She also managed redress schemes for victims of workplace sexual harassment at the Department of Justice and Community Safety.
