Kate brings a wealth of experience from both Australia and the United Kingdom. She stepped into the CEO role in January 2025 after leading the Costs Lawyer Standards Board in the UK. As a solicitor qualified in both countries, she offers invaluable insights into consumer rights, dispute resolution, and regulatory policy.
Her academic achievements are equally impressive. She holds degrees in law and economics from the University of Western Australia, as well as a postgraduate civil law degree from the University of Oxford. Furthermore, her career spans both public and private sectors. She has held senior legal roles at Which?—the UK’s Consumer Association—and served on influential boards in Australia and internationally.
