Patrick Kidd is the Chief Executive Officer of the Future Skills Organisation. He leads national initiatives that unlock Australia’s education and training potential, directly benefiting learners and employers in the finance, technology, and business sectors. With over 30 years of varied experience, Patrick offers a rare perspective shaped by service in both the British and Australian Armies. During his military career, he commanded teams in challenging operational deployments.
After leaving the armed forces, Patrick joined Deloitte. He then led the planning and delivery of the Invictus Games Sydney 2018. This achievement earned him the Order of Australia Medal. From 2023 onwards, he has focused on transforming workforce skills development. He actively drives digital capability growth and promotes innovative training solutions that meet fast-changing industry needs.
