Speaker Spotlight: Hon. Nick Goiran MLC
Hon. Nick Goiran MLC brings unparalleled expertise to our Summit. First elected in 2008 to represent the South Metropolitan Region with terms commencing in 2009 and re-elections in 2013, 2017, 2021, and 2025. he holds a double degree in Law and Commerce from Murdoch University. Admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Western Australia in 2000, he later became an equity partner in a law firm.
Goiran has held key shadow portfolios, including Industrial Relations, Commerce, and Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence. He previously chaired the Joint Standing Committee on the Corruption and Crime Commission for two terms and GOPAC Australia, and co-founded the Parliamentary Friends of Palliative Care. His leadership in child protection and justice reform makes him an ideal voice for advancing family safety.
