About Hon Amanda Camm MP
Elected as the Member for Whitsunday in October 2020, Hon Amanda Camm MP is serving her first term in the Queensland Parliament. Born on 18 April 1979, she previously held roles as a Councillor and Deputy Mayor in the Mackay region.
Prior to entering parliament, she occupied executive positions in local government and the not-for-profit sector, bringing expertise in economic development, tourism, mining services, and primary production. A long-time North Queensland resident and mother of three, she holds an MBA from Griffith University and has championed causes including domestic violence prevention and disaster recovery.
