About Andrea Musulin
Andrea Musulin is a prominent child protection expert based in Perth, Western Australia. She is the Founder of the WA Child Protection Society and Chief Executive Officer of Child Focused Safety Services WA, with prior leadership as Director of the Safeguarding Program for the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth (2014–2024) and Safeguarding Lead for Police and Community Youth Centres.
Career Highlights
A former police officer with 28 years of service specialising in child protection and domestic violence, Musulin transitioned into prevention-focused roles, including Executive Officer at Protective Behaviours WA Inc. She chaired Carnarvon Family Support Service, overseeing services like child sexual assault therapy and women’s refuges.
Key Contributions
Inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame in 2011 as a pioneer in child protection, she has delivered Protective Behaviours education, authored child safety resources, and led national forums on safeguarding.
