Keynote: Dr. Dinesh Palipana OAM & Chithrani Palipana
Dr. Dinesh Palipana, a pioneering doctor, lawyer, and disability advocate, and his mother, Chithrani Palipana, a dedicated rehabilitation counselor and advocate, will deliver a deeply moving keynote. Their shared journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the profound impact of a mother’s unwavering support.
- Dr. Dinesh Palipana will share his inspiring story of overcoming the challenges of quadriplegia to become Queensland’s first quadriplegic doctor and a trailblazer in healthcare, disability advocacy, and public policy reform.
- Chithrani Palipana will offer a heartfelt perspective on the pivotal role of motherhood in nurturing her son’s potential and advocating for disability rights.
