Appointed as Chief Executive Officer in December 2022, Russell Bricknell brings a wealth of expertise to his role and to the National Care and Support Conference. With a career spanning over two decades, Russell has dedicated himself to enhancing the quality and delivery of care across Australia and beyond.
- Extensive Experience: Russell has worked in the aged and community services sector since 2001. His background includes holding several senior executive and CEO roles in not-for-profit and faith-based organisations across Queensland, NSW, and Victoria.
- Previous Leadership Roles: Prior to his current appointment, Russell served as the Chief Executive of a faith-based aged care provider that catered to both metropolitan and regional communities in Western Australia. Before that, he was the Chief Executive of an Aged Care education provider, managing operations not only in Australia but also in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand.
- Vision for the Future: Russell’s leadership is characterised by his commitment to innovation and excellence in care delivery. His insights will be particularly valuable as we explore the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Australia’s care and support economy.
