In this video, Dee Roche reflect on some key turning points in her life, from her education to her professional journey, and the decisions she made that led her to where she is today. From moving between sectors to embracing new roles, she shares a few examples that shaped her career and explain the thought process behind these transitions.
Last year, she was invited to speak at the Rural and Remote Conference in Perth, where she had the honour of being a keynote speaker. She does a lot of pro bono mentoring work, particularly with young emerging leaders, and she feels it’s an important responsibility for anyone in leadership. When she was asked to speak at the conference, she was curious about the focus of her talk. To her surprise, they asked her to discuss Imposter Syndrome, a topic she has shared in smaller, more intimate settings before.
