On the Road to Inclusion
In this video, Vian Botma reflect on the journey of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – 11 years in the making, alongside the years of advocacy that led to its creation. It’s been a road travelled by many, with the shared vision of building a more inclusive and fairer society for all Australians. As someone who has experienced both the challenges and opportunities the NDIS offers, he believe they’re on the right path.
The scheme is not perfect, but there’s hope in the continued work being done by so many people – and he’s excited to see what the next 5, 10, or even 20 years might bring.
