In this video, Dr Parwinder Kaur dive into curiosity and the spirit of inquiry—two things that are at the core of innovation, learning, and personal growth. From a young age, she was relentlessly curious, always asking questions that seemed to disrupt the usual flow of school and study. But she has come to realise that it’s this very curiosity, this desire to follow the “golden thread” of questions and answers, that drives progress in every field.
She reflects on her own educational journey—how a simple practical course in crop production, as part of my agriculture degree, transformed her perspective. Growing up in cities, she never fully appreciated the hard work of farming. But through hands-on experience, she gained a new respect for the farming community and developed a deeper passion for using her curiosity to make a difference.
